Fall is quickly becoming a more busy season for photographers than spring and summer. Why? Because of the absolutely stunning colors the trees provide as a backdrop. This fall engagement session in Cedar Falls has lived in my head rent free.
Ally reached out to me hoping I would be able to shoot her wedding in the summer of 2026. Unfortunately, I was already booked for her date, but she was in a pinch needing engagement photos before the fall leaves fell away. I was so excited to be able to help them, and the photos are just so beautiful.
The Hartman Reserve is a favorite location of mine in the Cedar Falls area, as the trees are always perfect in autumn. There are plenty of trails, steps, and bridges to stroll along for a perfect fall vibe.
We ended our shoot on Main Street, where Ally’s family actually owns the popcorn shop! It was fun to get a couple photos in front of the iconic red storefront.
